AuSable River Lumbermen's Monument Overlook

This is a series of photos taken in January of 2009 at the AuSable River overlook at the Lumbermen's Monument in the Huron National Forest. The photos have been stitched together to form a panorama. The view shows the backwaters of the Cooke Dam. The view is looking generally north, with upriver, towards Five Channels Dam to the left and downriver towards Cooke Dam to the right. The open hillside behind the trees in the right of the picture is known as the Highbanks.
